DESCRIPTION
Transparent crystals or white odourless powder. Silica has a number of crystalline polymorphs of which cristobalite (CAS 14464-46-1), quartz (CAS 14808-60-7) and tridymite (CAS 15468-32-3) are the most commonly used. All are insoluble in water.
